How Zero Gravity HR handles the information you give us through this website and the client Resource Center.

Zero Gravity HR is an HR consulting practice based in Spanaway, Washington, serving clients in California, Oregon and Washington. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Zero Gravity HR. You can reach us at [email protected] about anything in this policy.
We only ask for information we actually need to answer you or to do the work.
The consult form collects your name, job title, email address, phone number, company name, website, location, number of employees, the states you have employees in, your industry, and whatever you choose to write in the message box. We use it to understand your situation and reply to you. The form is optional and you can email us instead.
If you ask to book a consult in the chat, it collects your first name and email address so we can follow up. Nothing else you type in the chat is stored.
If you are a client with a login, we store your name, email address and the company you belong to, together with the documents in your library and a record of changes made to your client record. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is never visible to us.
Our hosting provider records standard server information such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We use a small number of service providers to run this site and the Resource Center. They handle information on our behalf, under their own terms, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Consult enquiries are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Client records are kept for the life of the relationship and then archived for five years, after which we review them for deletion. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
The site and the Resource Center are served over HTTPS. The Resource Center requires a username and password, and client documents are only reachable by signed-in users. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not keep information we do not need, and access is limited to the people who need it.
Email [email protected] and ask. We will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it, unless we are required to keep it. Resource Center users can also change their own password at any time from the sign-in page.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. Ask us and we will honour them where they apply.
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this policy and post a notice here for at least 30 days. If the change affects information we already hold about you and you are a client, we will email you.
